Mazagon Dock Limited is a manufacture of warships and submarines for Indian Navy. Its headquarters is at Mumbai. The company was founded in the 18^th century and was undertaken by the government of India in 1960. Now it is one of the public sector undertakings. Apart from warships and submarines MDL manufactures offshore platforms, offshore drilling support vessels, tankers, cargo carriers, passenger ships and ferries.
